Maison Salon Deux is located at 25 S B St, San Mateo, CA 94401. Each independent stylist offers a variety of hair services, including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments. Women's haircuts start at $90, men's cuts at $65, and kids' cuts at $45. Balayage starts at $150 for a partial or $200 for a full head. Inquire with us to find the perfect stylist for you.
Women's haircuts at Maison Salon Deux start at $90. The final price depends on the stylist, your hair length, texture, and style complexity. Every haircut includes a consultation, precision cutting, and basic styling. Add a professional blowout for $60 to get smooth, shiny, salon-styled hair. It is recommended to get a trim every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain your shape and keep your hair healthy.
Balayage and highlights both add dimension but use different techniques. Balayage starting at $200 is hand-painted for a natural, sun-kissed look with softer grow-out. Traditional highlights starting at $200 use foils for more uniform brightness throughout. Partial services start at $150 and add subtle dimension to specific areas. Balayage requires fewer touch-ups, making it lower maintenance. Inquire today to find a stylist and to determine which technique works best for you.
Yes, men's haircuts start at $65 (as determined by each stylist). Each stylist provides clean, stylish, well-groomed finishes designed for men's styles and preferences. Your haircut includes a consultation to discuss your desired style and length. Professional cutting techniques create sharp lines and a polished appearance. Most men get haircuts every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain a fresh look. Our independent stylists ensure you leave looking confident and well-groomed.
Baby lights are fine, delicate highlights that cost $200 and up. They create a soft, natural glow that mimics sun-lightened hair. Stylists paint ultra-thin sections strategically throughout your hair for subtle dimension without harsh lines. Baby lights look more natural and softer than traditional highlights. They're perfect if you want barely-there brightness, want to enhance your natural color, or want to transition to lighter hair gradually. This service requires a skilled application for seamless, luminous results.
Single process color at Maison Salon Deux starts at $120 for full head application. Root touch-ups start at $90 to cover regrowth between full color services. Toner or gloss starts at $65 to enhance tone and add shine. Final pricing varies by hair length and the amount of product needed. All color services include a consultation to discuss your desired shade and maintenance requirements. Book your appointment today to achieve your perfect hair color.
Keratin treatments start at $250 and are smoothing treatments that reduce frizz, improve shine, and enhance manageability. Keratin protein seals your hair cuticle to create a sleek, smooth finish lasting 3 to 4 months. This treatment makes daily styling easier and reduces blow-dry time. It eliminates frizz in humid conditions but doesn't permanently straighten hair. Instead, it enhances your natural texture while controlling unruliness. Add deep conditioning for $65 for extra nourishment and moisture.
Yes, kids' haircuts start at $45 at Maison Salon Deux. We design comfortable haircuts styled for each child's age and preference. Our patient stylists are experienced working with children in a welcoming environment. We make salon visits a positive experience for both parents and kids. Professional cutting ensures healthy hair growth and creates manageable styles. Children feel confident wearing their age-appropriate styles to school and activities.
A blowout costs $60 and up and includes shampoo, conditioning, and expert blow-drying with a round brush. We create smooth, shiny, styled hair with volume, smoothness, or curls depending on your preference. Your blowout results last several days with proper nighttime maintenance. Blowouts are perfect for special occasions, professional events, or simply enjoying salon-fresh hair. You can add a blowout to any haircut service for a complete styling experience.
Yes, we offer excellent gray coverage starting at $90 for root touch-ups. Root touch-ups cover regrowth at your roots to maintain fresh, uniform color between full services. Single process color starts at $120 for complete coverage throughout your entire head. Most clients schedule root touch-ups every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain seamless color without visible gray. Book a consultation at Maison Salon Deux to discuss the best approach for your gray coverage needs and desired color.
Partial highlights start at $150 and place foils or balayage on specific sections. We typically highlight around your face, crown, or top layers for subtle dimension and brightness. Full highlights start at $200 and place color throughout your entire head for maximum brightness and dimension. Partial highlights are perfect for first-time highlighting, maintaining a natural base, or staying within budget. Full highlights create dramatic transformation. Schedule a consultation to determine which option achieves your desired look best.
Yes, perms start at $150 at Maison Salon Deux. Perms are chemical treatments that create curls or waves for long-lasting style and volume. Modern perms create natural-looking texture from loose waves to tighter curls depending on rod size and technique used. Results last 3 to 6 months as your hair grows out. Perms are perfect if you want permanent texture, want to add volume to fine hair, or want effortless beachy waves. Book a consultation to discuss your desired curl pattern and maintenance requirements.
Toner or gloss costs $65 and up and enhances or corrects your hair tone while adding shine and smoothness. We apply it after highlighting or bleaching to neutralize unwanted brassy or yellow tones. Toner also refreshes color between full services by adding vibrancy and shine. This semi-permanent treatment lasts 4 to 6 weeks and gradually fades. The service is quick, typically taking 20 to 30 minutes processing time. Toner maintains beautiful color and keeps hair looking salon-fresh between major appointments.
Women should get haircuts every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain shape, remove split ends, and keep hair healthy. Men typically need haircuts every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain clean lines and a polished appearance. Kids' haircut frequency depends on growth rate and style, usually every 6 to 8 weeks. Regular trims prevent damage from traveling up your hair shaft. They make styling easier and keep your look fresh. Consistent appointments are easier for maintaining your desired style than waiting too long and needing major reshaping.
